Hi my name is Carolyn Durbin (I have attached a photo) and I live in Jupiter, Florida. I am 38 years old and have an 18 year old daughter. I received your email and just wanted to add a few of my thoughts….

I grew up with a father that was in the Navy during the vietnam war, a grandfather that served during the Korean War, an Uncle in the Army during the Vietnam War, so basically I grew up with a family that loves this Country and who also taught me and my sisters the same. It really has never crossed my mind that any of the wars were senseless because I was taught that the freedom we have in this Country had to come with a price and to respect this Country no matter what and with that said, I have the utmost respect for all of you serving in the military…

I will tell you what does upset me though… when I see people picketing against the war.. now everyone is entitled to their opinion, BUT when it is the family of a fallen soldier, I just dont get it. I am sorry, but you and everyone else that is in the military chose to sign up knowing that there may some day be a war. I just think it is disrespectful to their loved ones that died serving in the military. I guess I just dont understand.

I also think that the war has gone on too long.. another thing I do not understand.. and maybe no one does. I hear all kinds of things as to why.. money, politics, etc.. which all may be true, but i think it is time to bring our men and women home.

I am sure I have more to add, but I am at work. I love the t-shirts and ordered one and will be ordering another for my daughter. You all are in my thoughts and prayers..
